I am so proud.

Maia started rolling onto her belly while we were at Babcia’s.
She has never ever fallen asleep on her own, but always in our arms.
Tonight she didn’t want to be held, so I laid her on her back on her blanket to play around. She rolled onto her side, fist to her lips, and I picked up a book.
A few minutes later she had fallen asleep.
A few minutes after that, she was like this:
On her belly. Self-soothed to sleep.
Oh my goodness.
Seriously I am about to cry from the adorableness.
That is so precious!
i just wanna snuggle up into the crook of her arm…. and sniff the glory that is the babe. ya know… that behind the neck, post nap, glorious baby sweat smell…. so divine. so precious. perfect pic!
It’s not for nothing that people always say you’re lucky when your kid self-soothes! Such a sweet little thing!
So precious! I look forward to the day my four month old will do that! Right now he is spoiled and loves to fall asleep in our bed on my boob! Or in the stroller as we roll him back and forth!
