Why I’m A Great Mom Already, pt 2

Chris and I put each other into convulsions of laughter today with a totally inane conversation about ethnic stereotypes and poop.  I mean, you know, it was one of those conversations that you’d never have in public, and only in private with someone that understands you’re not actually mentally insane.  Then at one point he said something so vile  that I’ve literally erased it from my memory, but I replied, “You know, some day there’s going to be a third set of ears listening to these conversations.  We will actually have a responsibility to society at large.”

And instead of letting that deter us, we started talking about how Maia would get involved with the conversation. Then someday she’ll be at preschool and someone will poop in their diaper and she’ll be like “WHAT ARE YOU, GERMAN?!”

Yeah, I’m pretty sure we’re going to be great parents.
