- God I am so totally okay with that man.
Maia’s all over the place, crawling, standing, cruising around holding onto furniture, and experimenting with standing on her own. She’s trying all sorts of new foods — oranges are a recent favourite — and being generally charming.
One thing she’s begun doing is chasing the dogs around the house.
WORD OF WARNING: This video opens up with a really loud, shrieky Maia.
She cracks me up! If you’re not going to watch the whole 78 seconds, at least fast forward to the 40 second mark and watch what she does there. CRAZY.
Recently, Maia had her first playdate, with @cindyambrose‘s daughter Lily. I didn’t get any good pictures, but Cindy did & they’re posted on her blog. Check them out! Our little girls are so different from one another physically, but they played together really well. And they kissed each other, which was probably THE CUTEST THING THAT HAS EVER HAPPENED.
We’ve looked up the schedules for some local drop-in play centres and will be taking her to one tomorrow. I can’t wait to see her interact with more of her peers!
I can’t believe how mobile she is!!!
If I put G on all fours she cries and cries
RUN CHIHUAHUAS!!! RUN!!!!!!!!! HA!!!! Seriously though, you should look up the world record for babies walking. I think the last record was 6 months straight walking. Is she 6 months yet? Either way…..your dogs will learn all sorts of new evasive maneuvers. LOL!!
She is so funny! All the vocals crack me up. I’m sure it can be hard at times, but it’s better then whining and crying! I saw the pics of her play date, and it is so cute. You wonder what is going through their little minds…
As for the drop off center–don’t forget that she will get exposed to A LOT of germs. As you know, everything goes into the mouth…so, all the toys will be drooled on by who knows how many kids. Also, all that diaper changing going on…Babcia fears…can’t help it.
@Nina: She’s just shy of 7 months now. No world record for us!
she’s getting so big!! how adorable! your poor doggie!!
xo
My 2.5 year old loved this! He said “Oh, baby!” and kept pointing at your daughter and he was laughing the whole time. When it finished he said, “Again!” SO we just watched it twice. Very cute and funny!
The whole Maia/puppies thing is so cute. They will help tire her out for you, be thankful! lol. Up until she catches one, then they’ll wise up and start hiding from her. Very cute. ; )
I love all the little squeals! Sophie terrorizes our cats. With love, of course. It’s the nature of the beast, I guess, that babies can’t resist the animals.
