I hope a year from now you are rereading bits of your blog. And then you look over at your gorgeous daughter and know how worth it everything was.

Hey, chin up, I’ve heard that most home births go really smoothly, and the whole ‘being in your own environment’ thing actually makes the process easier than being introduced to the sterile hospital one. I totally wish I’d had Lauren at home.
I know it’s a bummer that you have no choice in the matter, but maybe you can find a way to be happy about it? *massive hugs* pregnancy makes everything feel so much harder I know, and it’s a terrible time in your life to be given bad news. Hang in there.

    Emo post indeed! :-)

    *hugggggggggggggggggg*

    Are there any in-between options?

I am sorry you didn’t have a choice for this, but I hope I can be optimistic without making you too upset and echo what J.C. said. Young, healthy women don’t need all the fancy stuff at the hospital and do just fine with homebirths. In fact, in so many ways you will be thankful you are at home. Just make sure you have a midwife that you trust completely.
