What boggles my mind is it's not like Canada is SO FOREIGN that things should be this hard. I'm not Saudi, or Taiwanese, or Romanian -- I'm an American. America and Canada's economies and identities are intertwined. I just wanna get a job, contribute to the world, and pay some goddamn taxes. One woman had a child born here, and they told her she had to leave, but her son (2 yearsold) could stay. Another woman was a Iraqi War widow. They are all here on proper paperwork, followed all proper procedures, etc. So, seems like the US is about as screwed up on all this as Canada. Meanwhile, the illegals (excuse me--"undocumented") are running rampent in this country.
