The microwave thing gets under my skin, too! My husband CAN'T set any type of timer (microwave, alarm, etc.) to a round number, and then he cannot let it finish. I have a friend who, when they visit, will always top my microwave with like 5 seconds left, get her food out, and then NOT CLEAR the time. And it blinks. It BLINKS and drives me bonkers. And I just go and hit clear when I see it but I really want to say "Can't you just do this in MY HOUSE?!"
